BrightLines Roof Rack Crossbars Replacement for Chevy Equinox 2010-2017

The roof rack crossbars fit my 2015 Equinox perfectly. Installation took less than five minutes. I had no issue with the locking pins as others have mentioned. Item was shipped promptly, tracking information was provided, and I am a satisfied customer.

They fit perfect. My 19yr old daughter and I put them on less than 10mins. Perfect! Can't wait to try them out when we travel to Florida. Oh did I say cheaper than from the dealer! Florida here we come??

The cross bars are substantial, and slide right into the tracks, but as some others have observed, the locking pin mechanism does NOT lock the cross bars into your selected holes in the siderails of the roof rack. It seems the pins do not stick out far enough to engage with the holes, so this means the bars can move backward or forward - not good. Also, the 'levers' that lift up on top of the cross bars at each end - to allegedly insert the pins, do not sufficiently lock back down flat, and they also don't feel like they have enough power to push the pins into the holes, which could also be part of the problem. Bottom line - these are less expensive that factory cross bars, and will work if you use some duct tape to keep the bars located / not let them slide backward or forward...and duct tape also to keep levers down all the way. Too bad these are not engineered a little better, so they'd lock in like they are supposed to.

The bars fit perfectly, and look like factory - but much less expensive. Quick and easy transaction, and easy install. What's not to like?

Fit perfectly. Look great on the car. Haven't tried the cargo basket on them yet. But feel sure there will be no problem. Great price also. Cheapest price on the internet.

Great product, easy website to navigate and purchase cross bars. I wish all my Amazon purchases went as smoothly as this one did. It even came in a sturdy box that I kept to use as a storage container since I don't leave the bars in all the time to avoid them being stolen.
