First off, I looked at another rack at Amazon that claims it fits a 2019 Ford Edge: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QKX2FL1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The rack ends extends 3 inches on each end and even with it fully extended I could not get the rails mounted over the middle part of the rails. I was able only to get this rack mounted at the very end of the side rails where the width was smaller. In the middle of the side rails this rack was 3/4 inch width short. Now what I think of this rack. One person said this rack was a waste of money. He did not say why, but this rack fit my 2019 Edge Titanium with no issues. Secondly, another person said that he couldn't get the endcaps on and they stuck out. The reason this person couldn't get them on because he didn't read the install guide closely. The install guide clearly states that the plastic tabs need to be cut to length and if you read the manual closely, you need to insert them with the hole end before you cut them. The hole end of the plastic tab inserts into the end cap. So this person either didn't cut them or didn't insert them in the rails with the correct end before cutting them. The rails will have roughly two and a half inches of overhang on each rail. As far as the install goes, that was probably the only thing that was marginally difficult. The issue here is that moving the feet to adjust for the rails requires a light touch. As the manual said, you need to use just a finger to move them. If you grab them with a hand and attempt to slide they resist. So only use your the tip of the finger to bump them to move them back and forth for the right width. Also, as someone also said, the only issue I had was getting the overhang the same on both ends and this came back to moving the feet. Aside from this, this rack is solid and appears to be well made. It does not have any play on the rails and I was able to secure it very nicely. If you have a Thule Sidekick box, the U brackets that secure the box fit the cross bars. I also have a Thule ski rack and although I didn't mount it on the rails, it appears that this will fit with no issues as well.
